8. What does it cost?
XXXPlease call for a current price list for the unit in which you are interested. Rental rates for the Independent Living Apartments and the Assisted Living Facility depend on the size and floor plan of the apartment or room chosen. In the Healthcare Center, rates vary from one unit (Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, Assisted Living, and Dementia/Alzheimer's) to another, and, within each unit, there are choices of private and semi-private rooms.
XXXAlthough our programs are broad, and accommodations very comprehensive, rental rates do not include certain items. In the Independent Living Apartments, there are additional costs for telephone and electrical service. (In addition, as with any independent apartment, your food and personal expenses are not included. You may, however, purchase a meal plan if you desire.)
XXXAdditional costs for the Assisted Living Facility and the Healthcare Facility may include telephone, guest meals, private sitters or nurses, and medical supplies such as diapers, pads, and equipment. For all residents, physical, occupational, and speech therapy, and other medical services are available upon request from your physician, and will entail additional charges. Any costs that qualify can be billed to your insurance. This list of additional costs may not be all-inclusive, depending on your needs.

9. Are meals furnished?
XXXAll meals are included for residents in the Assisted Living Facility and the Healthcare Center. A wide variety of delicious and nutricious food is prepared three times a day under the direction of a registered dietician. The dining rooms are spacious and elegant, and have a "family-style" feel. There are also private dining rooms available for family get-togethers and special events.
XXXGuests are welcome for meals. Guest meal tickets are available, and can be purchased from the receptionists at the Assisted Living Facility and the Healthcare Center. Although each of the Independent Living Apartments contains a full kitchen, residents of the apartments may participate in a meal plan. Under the plan, tickets are available for purchase in any amount, and can be used for any meals at any time.
XXXFor example, an apartment resident may choose to eat only lunches via a meal ticket. The meal ticket will be punched at each lunch eaten, and will be valid until all purchased meals have been eaten, no matter how long that may take. Thus, apartment residents may, at their discretion, eat in the dining room, prepare meals in their apartments, or go off campus, and not be charged for meals not eaten on campus.
