Decades ago, the concept of what was to become Gordon Oaks was designed by John and Dorothy Saad. Their early vision was simply a city where people could have all of their normal, daily needs met—right in the Gordon Oaks community of seniors.

It was a broad vision, and the foundation of the continuum of care concept. The Saads' idea was revolutionary and progressive for its time, but has proven to be a successful solution to the many challenges of living a healthy, happy life as one ages.
